About Springer America

Springer America was established in 2008 by Kjell Ottesen, a Norwegian immigrant who seized the opportunity to import a Norwegian product to North America. The company is based in Raleigh, NC where Ottesen and his family, including their rescued pit bull, Bella, reside. After losing their two dogs in 2011, the Ottesens searched for a rescued dog that would be a good fit for their lifestyle. They eventually found Bella, who had been used as a bait dog in dog fights and had multiple scars as a result. Bella thrived in her new home and her daily bike rides using the Springer Dog Exerciser kept her happy and active. Springer America's commitment to providing quality products for pets and their owners is evident in their passion for promoting healthy and active lifestyles for dogs like Bella.
